Georgia Tech VAW will embark on a 2 week medical outreach trip this summer. Participants will help in mobile medical clinics around the community, as well as educate children in the area about public health. Students can choose how they would like to participate in this trip.

Apply to be team leadThe Team Lead serves as a liaison from the executive board to the traveling participants before and during the trip. He or she is responsible for recruiting participants, gathering proper documentation prior to the trip, guiding 10-15 participants throughout the trip. If selected, the Team Lead will serve from February until the trip has concluded.
Qualifications: Team Leads are patient, organized, flexible, and motivated individuals. The executive board depends on the TL to prepare for the trip, and represent Georgia Tech well at the site. Must be 18 years old, but medical experience is not required. Applications CLOSED |
apply to be a participantQualifications: Volunteers are adventurous, enthusiastic, caring, sensible, humble, and curious. Volunteers are expected to learn and grow while improving themselves and the communities in which VAW works. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Medical training and Spanish are useful skills but are not required for a successful experience. We will teach you many of the medical skills required while you are volunteering with us!
